CEO search for Africa healthcare venture, backed by a global responsible investor

We were tasked with finding an impactful CEO for a recently acquired Oncology venture who are committed to improving access to high quality cancer care across Africa. The board tasked us with conducting a search both within and outside of the continent to ensure we produced a professionally and culturally diverse shortlist.

We developed a compelling brief, which presented an exciting growth proposition as well as the opportunity to deliver real social change for growing communities. Our search was genuinely global, comprising top leadership with experience in Africa, North America and Europe. We fully evaluated local talent, in particular individuals who would be first-time CEOs to ensure a wide-ranging longlist. The successful candidate is now in situ driving this vital initiative forward.

Project Team for major regeneration programme in London

We were approached by the executive of Central London governing body to identify key personnel to support a complex regeneration project. The client needed to bring, under one structure, a diverse range of specialist skills covering real estate, logistics, transport, economic planning and communications and stakeholder management.
Through our Interim practice, Mclean identified an overall Programme Director to lead the intelligent client function. Through our diverse sector practices, we then recruited an additional five appointments covering the necessary areas of specialism. The team worked together over an 18mth+ period, enabling the project to hit key milestones before being transitioned back in-house for more BAU project management.
